809records is a recurring documentation format built around music. Each edition brings DJs, producers, and musicians, but the pairing is the concept: artists brought into the same space through 809's curatorial logic, connecting people who came through the platform or who would not otherwise find each other. A deliberate mix of emerging and established. Definitely not as a hierarchy, but as a meeting point.
809records is woven into the yearly cycle, present at the residency closing gathering and connected to the broader rhythm of the annual programme. It extends the live energy that 809 generates beyond the moment it happens, and gives the artists involved something that lasts, while also serving as a cultural documentation & archive.
